In early June I did my last long run - the first half of the BGR from Keswick to Langale and fortunately the single room at the ODG Hotel was still available. The guys in the hikers' bar kindly made me a huge beef curry and then I hit the sack. Heaven. What a fantastic place. It's a hard life.
